Consultation Fees
Dr Scott-Young’s consultation fee depends on whether you have an initial or follow-up appointment. His consultation fees are paid on the day of your consultation. Dr Scott-Young discounts his fees for aged and disability pensioners. A valid referral is required to obtain a Medicare rebate.

Prepayment for Procedures
Prepayment for your procedure may be made through the Westpac Bank Pay Way portal on this website. We are able to accept Credit Card payments by way of Visa and Mastercard through the Pay Way portal. The link to the Westpac Bank Pay Way portal follows.

Prepayment for your procedure may be completed via an EFT payment through Internet Banking.
Instructions and your surgeon’s bank account details for Internet EFT payments are noted in the Estimate you have been provided for your proposed procedure. Please email us at finance@goldcoastspine.com.au to confirm that you have made an EFT transfer so that we may issue you with an appropriate receipt. Please ensure that you include in your email:
- The patient’s full name.
- The patient’s date of birth
- The amount of the prepayment made.

Prepayment for your procedure may be made in person at Gold Coast Spine. We are able to accept payments by way of Cash, bank cheque, EFTPOS, and Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard). Please note that personal and company cheques are not accepted at Gold Coast Spine.
